Key Performance Areas Interface with Project Lead for requirement gathering and finalisation of technical specifications. Involved in design, development, testing, debugging and troubleshooting of Sensor based Embedded Systems. Handle smooth implementation of the application at clients’ end. Render post implementation support as well as resolve queries, train end users. Interact with team members to ensure smooth progress of project work. Ensure adherence to quality norms throughout the development & implementation process. Significant Accomplishments Member of teams currently involved in execution of the following projects: Title: Incorporating a Security Alarm in the Temperature Sensing project Role: Technical head & Firmware Developer. Team Size: 2 Duration: Mar ’05-May’05 Platform: Emb C with keil , Express PCB, Wireless RF ICs, IR Sender / Receiver, various types of resistors & capacitors, other supportive hardware. This alarm facility increase the security of the overall project. It is added to make the system more safe. If temperature goes beyond the defined range then a security alarm is generated for the security guards who can save any damage to the system. Title: Converting Temperature Sensor in Wireless Temperature Sensor Role: Systems Designer. Team Size: 2 Duration: Jun ’05 – Sep ’05 Platform: Express PCB, Wireless RF ICs, IR Sender / Receiver, various types of resistors & capacitors, other supportive hardware. Temperature can be sensed remotely using the Sensor. It can be used in applications where wire communication can be a problem. The project is currently in the Testing stage. Title : Interface Design for Digital Camera & Computer Using USB Role : Firmware Engineer. Team Size : 2 Duration :Oct ’04 – Feb ’05 Platform : Embedded C Keil , USB 2.0 , FAT32 , ATA-7 IDE Hard Drive, 32 Bit ARM Processor (RISC Thumb Instruction Set), Windows Supportive Hardware. In this project an interface has been designed to transfer the JPEG Files from Camera to hard disc using USB port. The USB Protocol , PCI Interface , PIMA 15740 Interface , FAT 32 File system has been used to complete the result. Title : USB Encrypted Hard Disc Role : Firmware Developer. Team Size : 2 Duration : Aug ’04 – Oct ’04 Platform : Embedded C with keil, USB2.0 ,FAT32 , ATA-7 IDE Hard drive 32 Bit ARM Processor (RISC Thumb Instruction Set) , Windows, Supportive Hardware. Microcontroller fetch out data from ATA hard disc & then the data would be thrown away according to the USB 2.0 data communication protocol . After that there would be a encryption /Decryption engine to encrypt & decrypt data. In this way the data can be read only by the person who is having the engine. Successfully executed the following key projects: Title: Networked Temperature Sensing and Auto SMS system Role: Firmware Developer. Team Size: 2 Duration: Oct’05-Jun’06 Platform: Emb. C with keil , Visual Basic 6.0, Bread board, DS1621, AT89C52, Max232, GSM Modem, Power supply +5 volts, various types of resistors & capacitors and other hardware parts. Temperature is sensed by many sensors installed at different locations in areas where a Biological substance is kept near or inside an instrument. If the temperature reaches beyond the defined range, an automatic SMS is generated to concerned authorities as well as alarm is generated at the security room. This project can be used for Environmental Control of any kind of environmental sensitive substance like DNA, Gene samples etc. Currently I am doing the project for HP Super Computer (288 node Linux cluster). IGIB is having power consumption of approximately 13Lacs per month , due to this super computing . But the actual use is 30% of total Bio-Computing facility. The basic objective of this project is to regulate power according to power required for job execution by the feed back mechanism , to save the 70% unused power which will save near about 1000,00,0 rupees in a year of IGIB. The Networked Temperature & Auto SMS project has been installed at Asia’s Largest Bio-Computing facility at IGIB, Okhla (HP Super Computer facility). Selected for the Certificate Course on Embedded System and Application conducted at IIT, Delhi & joined that for 15 days but after that due to an unfortunate accident , I was enforced to left it. Title: Enhancing Glucose Sensor using Microcontroller Role: Firmware Developer. Team Size: 2 Duration: Jan’04-Jul’04 Platform:Assembly Language (8051), Bread board, Various types of IC’S, AT89C51 Microcontroller chip, ADC IC, wires, LCD display, Memory IC, Power Supply +5 volts, various types of resistors and capacitors and other hardware parts. Incorporated additional facilities like memory implementation, automatic calibration, implemented progress bar in the glucose sensor. This project can be used to enhance any type of sensor based system. It can be further enhanced by converting it into the complete micro-controller based embedded system in which information will be received by a sensor and another system can be controlled by the Central System. Title: Electronic Salty & Bitter Taste Sensor Role: Group Leader & Firmware Developer. Team Size: 2 Duration: Jan’04-Jul’04 Platform: Emb. C with keil, Orcad CIS Capture, Pad2Pad 6.2, Jar, Electrode, Amplifier Circuit, ATOD Converter Microcontroller AT89C51, Max 232, P4 Computer. The Sensor quantifies Salty & Bitter taste of foodstuff.
