As an American CPA that worked 4 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (world's largest CPA firm), I know about professional service firms. I must say that the client service procedures by Brick Red were similar to our own. They communicated quick and professionally, had a partner that handled negotiations and high-level issues, a manager that was often my day-to-day contact, and staff members to do low-level work. Not only was their client service world-class, but so were their programming skills. I did not even know if this project was possible when I started it, but they accomplished everything I wanted. They even put up with a never-ending number of changes without complaint (there was a $1k extra-billing, but believe me it was well deserved based on a major change I added late in the project). I have used other workers on Rent-a-Coder, and they were fine for small jobs. But if you have a major assignment, I would recommend giving it to BrickRed Technologies. They are a true professional services organization.
