The work started out well and the communication was good. Very soon however they started to complain that they had underestimated the scope of the project but that they would still complete it for the agreed amount. The project was taking longer than expected and they soon asked to get the full payment. As the project looked good and I had gained a bit of trust in them I decided to release the majority of the payment after several requests. It is of course a mistake on my part. Once they told me that they had completed the project I started to review it. Some major parts were still missing according to a very detailed project brief. I listed these items out and sent to them. They came back and told me that they had been added and fixed. When reviewing again most of the same parts were still missing. This is when they started not replying to my messages and it was more difficult to get replies. After 6 months of having this project open (It was supposed to be completed in 40 days) I decided to give up and close the project. Over all the communication was courteous and quality of the programming was satisfactory. Professionalism is lacking however as they never completed the project according to the original brief, which was very detailed. Six months is just too long when 40 days was the original plan. I would not hire them again. They came recommended from a Freelancer employee called Barbara. I hope she will reconsider her future recommendations. I have lost almost 4000USD.
