Nodejs and [login to view URL] - proof of concept app

Looking for a concept app where we have a page, upload an image. show the image to the user and let them highlight some portion of the image with a "highlighter" as the user is highlighting we will try to pass the data to the javascript ocr engine and show the text on the page.

I was thinking about how to send the image data to the ocr engine and maybe we can leverage html5 canvas to make the highlighter select image fragments to the orcad.

I found this lib to help clip the image [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] using polyclip. certainly this lib is not a requirement its just interesting for it.

ideally the highlighter feels like a real pen on top of the image text something like this

image uploaded can be to local file system, nothing complicated, and we need to support up to 5mb jpg/jpeg images.
