Tally ERP data extraction with python

Looking for scripts(python or any other) to extract Sales Register, Purchase Register, Receipt and Payments Info and bank details to push it to MySql DB or just export to xml/json /csv format from Tally ERP 9. Script should accept input date range for extracting data and connect through ODBC connection. Expected data fields would be those pertaining to buyer/seller and transaction details(line item, qty, rate, Units, tax) along with item or inventory info in applicable cases.
