Solve Joomla Community Builder upload problem

Hi, we have a Joomla site with community builder.
In CB profile, we can upload images. However, for large images the upload fails.
We want you to:
1. Solve this upload problem
2. Explain to us where in the CB code the actual upload is done
We will give you access to a test site. You need to deliver any fixes because we need to apply fixes on production site later!
