Project #1 – Import/Export
Right now we have .CFG files in our FTP server that have no DB entry in our new program.
I would like to import all our existing .CFG files into our new mySQL DB.
So you need to scan all the .CFG files, open each one, then extract out the mac, ph#, line info, all the stuff we have in our database.
Also, create an export function to export all .CFG files from DB. If we lost all CFG files, I need to have the ability to recreate them based on our MYSQL DB.
Project #2 – Cisco Phone Configuration.
We just completed making Polycom configuration fies. Cisco has their own set of configuration files that are similar, but not the same . I have included a couple sample config files. They end in .cnf – but I renamed them to .txt. I have a created a drop down on the Add menu to create a Polycom or Cisco configuration. If they choose Cisco, they need to create a Cisco config. If they choose Polycom it creates a Polycom config.
Project #3 – Username Directory creation and import.
This takes the user name and imports it as an “directory” speed dial on the polycom phone (or Cisco). I have also included a sample file for this. It needs to be generated from the phones.
