help with PHP based file manager configuration

Hello,
I need someone to do a few changes/modifications on the PHP based code below.

1- The default upload folder needs to be pointed to some other folder.
For example:
I want the PHP file located in xxx/php_uploader directory (in the public_html)
, but it needs to upload the files xxx/thisisthetarget
same with the folder creation, rather than using the default folder, needs to use the giving path.
2- create a htaccess file for basic authentication.
I need someone to sort this out quickly, as i dont have time to deal this myself.
if you are a little bit good at PHP, this wont take more than 20 minutes.
