Expert in REST API for insurance policy data handling on existing systems (URGENT)

Hi,

I have a very urgent requirement for an EXPERT in REST APIs who is a EU working resident that could sit down with me in order to produce and deliver basic but working code by the 25th June. Invoice will be required.

The project's goal is to allow via REST API requests:

- creation of new; and

- update existing insurance policies data,

- creation of PDF files and their remote storage on Rackspace Cloud Files (REST API connector is ready)

- send email messages along with documents.

There are certain conditions for these actions as well as data validation. I will not go into details as it would take too much of precious time hence paid by hour - will be explaining as we code.

1) The new API will be talking directly to two MySQL databases . Both databases have identical schemas (except some fields that won't be utilised by the API).

2) Methods required (examples) :

a) authenticateUser (?) /v1/rest/{system_id}/users/{id}

Fetch user credentials in order to authenticate, once successfully authenticated fetch current user dealer group details then, if parent group is specified as pricig source, details from the parent group. Fetched dealer group details will contain policy settings used by policy creation method.

b) getPolicy (GET) /v1/rest/{system_id}/policies/{id}

Upon successful user authentication, fetch by id or alternative id policy details and present in JSON format.

c) createPolicy (POST) /v1/rest/{system_id}/policies

- Authenticate user against contact table

- Fetch current and/or parent dealer group settings from dealerships table

- Fetch policy product details by unique code from products table

- Validate input data

- Create policy

- Store generated PDF certificate based on predefined templates on Rackspace Cloud Files (RCF) through already in use internal API connector

- JSON response contains requrest codes, statuses, errors and new policy number.

- When requestred and policy holder email is present send welcome message along with policy document(s).

d) updatePolicy (PUT) /v1/rest/{system_id}/policies/{id}

- Authenticate user

- Check policy belongs to user

- Validate input data

- Update policy details based on certain additional conditions.

- JSON response contains requrest codes, statuses, errors and new PDF documents download link.

- When requestred and policy holder email is present send policy update message along with new policy document(s).

e) getPolicyDocuments (?) /v1/rest/{system_id}/policies/{id}/documents

- Authenticate user

- Check policy belongs to user

- If document stored on RCF for policy provide PDF download link that auto-expire; else

- Fetch policy details, generate PDF documents and provide auto-expiring download link

- JSON response contains requrest codes, statuses, errors and new PDF documents download link.

e) sendPolicyDocuments (?) /v1/rest/{system_id}/policies/{id}/documents/

- Authenticate user

- Check policy belongs to user

- Check policy holder email exists; if yes

- If PDF document stored on RCF for policy retrieve it; else

- Fetch policy details, generate PDF document

- Resend welcome message to policy holder's email along with PDF document(s)

- JSON response contains requrest codes, statuses, errors, PDF download link.
