I would like an app for iPhone and Android.
Signup
People can sign up with only a username, password, gender, race (optional), and birth year – no other self-identifying information is required.
Functionality
I would like for the app to consist of five different message feeds. The feeds would work and look like a Facebook feed; however, users will not have personal feeds/walls/profiles, friends list, messaging capability, etc.
Upon logging in, and choosing which feed to view, everyone sees the same feed and the only thing users can do is post new comments to the feed.
Users will have a “My Account” section to update their email address and view/update all posts they have made to a feed. Once a message is posted, it cannot be edited; however, a user can add additional details or “updates” to their post – (remember, users will have a “My Account” section to view/update all posts they have made to a feed).
Users can also choose to show their gender, race, or age on a post by clicking a ticker box for each before they submit their post.
Tracking
In the admin panel, I would like to be able to search for feed posts using the identifiers gathered during sign up (e.g. age or age and race or username). I want to be able to export the information to excel.
Cosmetics
I would like for the visual design to be simple like Facebook. Basically, people see a feed with a list of comments.
