We are building a high end/Premium Fashion Webstore.
Looking for an Web Designer/Developer to build an e-commerce site with integration preferably using Amazon Web Store.
Specifically looking for:
- Experience (with references) in developing front ends for Amazon Web Store with associated integration
- Experience with developing Fashion retail sites is preferable, though not mandatory
- Developer to be based in Delhi/Mumbai, India and/or UK to facilitate face-face meetings where required
- (optional) Experience of any other e-commerce backends (Eg Magento etc) would be beneficial
Please advise the following with your proposal:
- Please separate costs to Design and Implement the design into live website.
- Please advise working hours and availability for technical support, during and post project completion
- Please provide references of sites already built
- PLeae advise policy with regards to moves/add changes until the e-commerce platform has been delivered
Job Description:
Your responsibilities:
- Translate business and user requirements into highly engaging and compelling design concepts
- Conceptualize, design, and develop the User Interface/User Experience as well as the overall look and feel of web pages
- Communicate design strategy and rationale to our team, including product managers and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate with the marketing and product team in the production of captivating brand messages
- Create designs including sketches, visual design mockups, visual assets and documentation required for proper implementation
- Incorporate user interface design standards across the website, as needed
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Implement Agreed Web site design to full live status, with integration to back end e-commerice solution that being Amazon Web Store (or similar)
Your qualifications:
- Strong grasp of web design principles, information design, typography, color, iconography and layout
- Compelling portfolio that demonstrates beautiful interactive experiences and innovative design
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience/Understanding of HTML, CSS, ActionScript, and jQuery is a plus
- Ability to work with constructive criticism as well as adhere to deadlines
- A work style that is extremely detail oriented
- References or an established reputation on Elance preferred
