Concept: Gourmet dog treats for the posh puppy. Simple, yet classy design to showcase product line.
Expectations:
1. Create and integrate a fully functional design using osCommerce to allow customers to browse and purchase gourmet dog treats.
a. Simple Design - a good example can be found here ([login to view URL])
b. Product Line - while we don't have a large product line, the description and images we will have for each product will be intense
2. We are using GoDaddy's shared hosting with a merchant account from Cardservices International (Linkpoint API).
3. Create/Find modules to integrate to allow:
a. Image gallery - each product will have multiple images and the user should be able to hover over the main image to allow a fly-out to show a larger sample of the main product image. The product description page should allow for multiple images. Each image should open up in a new window perfectly sized for that image.
b. Shipping - users should have the option of shipping with either USPS, UPS, or FedEx and have the admin control panel configured to allow for shipping lables to be generated from the prepopulated account creation fields.
c. Shopping Cart - user should be able to hover over the shopping cart to see the list of items without having to click the shopping cart button
d. Payment - as mentioned above, Linkpoint API will be used for the credit card transactions. Google shopping cart should also be installed along with PayPal.
4. Create a Newsletter/e-mail template using header and footer graphics to allow for easy text customization by store owner to send out monthly newslettes as well as occasional e-mail announcements.
5. SEO - site must be able to be crawled properly
6. Links and Forum - user interactive area to allow for link exchanges and a community forum.

A little about us - we are a small business focusing on the needs of our four-legged dog friends. We have created a unique collection of recipes that use all natural ingredients with no preservatives. Some recipes are completely organic! We have a signature line of classic everyday treats as well as a speciality line of gourmet treats decorated with carob and yogurt. The overall design should be easy to navigate with NO STRAIGHT LINES! We absolutley hate designs with straight edges and plain colors, like the default template for osCommerce. Any other modules that you find appropriate for the store, can be added on.
