Debug simple CURL script

Debug a simple CURL script that does a POST and echoes the result. Also assist with a couple of other similar small scripts if I have problems.
When I create the POST to a remote web site via a form it works. When I try to post it via CURL the other site rejects the data as invalid.
Both files are attached.
