connect .php site to mysql database on another domain

I need advice on how to connect my php site to a mysql database which is hosted on another domain. I am pretty sure I am doing everything right. My php site asks for a setup in order to connect to a database, and I can successfully connect it to a databse hosted on the same domain by setting the DB address to "localhost" however, when I try to connect to to a databse which is located on another domain, it doesnt work. I am pretty sure I am using the correct DB address on which is located the DB I would like to connect to. ## Deliverables
