Silverstripe Internal Server Error 500 displaying white page.

We have an installation of Silverstipe CMS and we hired a freelancer to upgrade - unfortunately there were unable to upgrade our version of Silverstripe to the latest version and our website is now displaying as a blank page.
We need someone to fix this blank page issue and if at all possible - upgrade our version of Silverstripe.
