Add to a new website of a radio station some customized script/database:
Could be admin out joomla, but pages integrated in the website
1) PODCAST
Create a database:
- ID NUMBER (**)
- Name of program
- Category
- Default image
- Custom image
- set number of podcast to show
Generate a fix URL for ITunes RSS (use the standards for Apple XML)
Automatic podcast generation:
Radio Automation Software will upload a MP3 (named with ID NUMBER ex: [login to view URL]) to a FTP directory.
The system will put the audio file on the list of podcast showed using the today data according to the created details.
A files with the same ID uploaded from 1AM TO 1AM will replace the podcast (not create one new).
A file uploaded from midnight to 1AM will be dated with the day before.
2) History Section
Using shoutcast data page (like this: [login to view URL])
each radio channel or webradio as a history database witch stores all data of the songs played:
- Time when song or event was played
- Artist
- Title
- Number of user/listeners
- Like/unlike button on player (***)
Exclude entry if the same artist - title will be played in 5 minutes
Exclude entry if there are some words like “jingles” “theme”..
This database will be used:
- For website to see just last 7days of songs TIME OF PLAYING – ARTIST – TITLE
- Data will be used for the marketing research as audience control..
- Export as XLS or other format to see data (for ex. Number of listeners during the days, songs more liked, etc.)
3) THE PLAYER (see image as attachement)
Responsable desktop/smartphone
Name of Podcast or Webradio listened
Artist/Title of song on air or name podcast
If song: Cover taken from website like amazon or itunes (using just title and artist)
If podcast the custom image (if exsist) or default image.
If song: “Buy” buttons to shop the songs itunes, amazon, [login to view URL]
If song: Like or unlike button (users can vote one time and gives just a LIKE OR UNLIKE)
Share song on Twitter or facebook (“I am listening XXX- XXX on Radio..”)
On top right side you will find TAB for listing WEBRADIOS, list PODCAST NAMES and list INTERVIEW (are a
sub category of podcast)
When a webradio is selected the right part shows the last 5 songs played
When a podcast is selected the right part shows the list of podcast available in the same PROGRAM
4) SCHEDULE PROGRAMS
Create a database:
- Name of program
- Category
- Sub program Y/N
- Description
- Day(s) of week
- Time (from-to)
- Default image
- Speaker 1
- Speaker 2
Wiew:
A page with Full calendar with all WEEKLY programs displayed
