iPhone & Android Calendar & Location App

This project is fairly simple but the criteria for award is not. The successful applicant will be included in our ongoing development as a part of our Offshore Development Team.

We need to develop a server based scheduling system for our Truckers using the native mobile calendar. The app will be used for finding and scheduling pickups for our fleet of trucks...

This project requires that two Calendar Apps be created and linked to the server. One will be used by our Customers, the other by our Truckers. Updating the calendar may occur from two levels:

1. At the Customer level- Admins or business owners set the availability times for pickup and accesses the interface from both their mobile phone and the web service. They input information on business type, address, phone number, and business name. They also list the cost of the pick-up if any(most items our Truckers pick up are items we are purchasing and payment must be made on confirming the pickup). This is then listed on the interface for drivers to access from the employee app.

2. At the employee level- where the TRUCKER accesses the calendar on his mobile phone and views available pickup slots by business type. The TRUCKER may find slots by finding particular Business Types with "pickup requirements" listed closest to their location(GPS Functionality), or by Business Name, Business Address. The App will display directions to the business selected and if compatible, TRUCKER will then accept and confirm the the pickup time. If a payment is required, the payment is automatically made when the TRUCKER confirms the pick-up appointment.

This will be updated on the admin side for that business to identify the Driver who is coming to do the pickup and to see the appointment time of the pickup. The TRUCKER may also use his calendar to enter such personal reminders as his sleep schedule, servicing schedule, tire rotation schedule etc.( these would not be posted to the Customers App)

YOUR BID MUST INCLUDE A PROJECT SCOPE DETAILING YOUR TEAM, ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES, PROJECT TIMELINES, AND YOUR RATE. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN NDA FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT WILL BE SHARED DURING DEVELOPMENT
