Answer: I generate a random number in the range -20 and 19 as the priority of new job.
2. When you take a job from the priority queue if the execution of the job takes more than one time-slice what do you do?
Answer: Suppose this job has a priority: m (a number in the range -20 to 19) I generate a random number in the range -20 to m (and not 19) assign it to this job as its new priority. I then insert this job with this new priority to the priority of queue.
