Web-shop tool for message to be engraved on any item

we are currently redesigning our B2C web-shop and therefore we would like to add a tool to help our customer when ordering as well as for us to reduce the interaction with them.
Our online platform is specialized into the engraved gifts. I'm looking for a tool where our consumer can select one of our items and through the tool insert the to engrave message on it.

If you select an item, click Gravur bearbeiten. Here you can enter the text BUT not yet able to see the text on the item!
I have already seen a few tools on other website where this idea is possible
Maybe some one from your community could help us.
