Diagrams and process flows for a website and presentation material

We are a small start up and need an experienced graphic designer to help build pictures and diagrams for our web site and presentation materials. These will be placed into our web site to explain the process and also used in presentation materials. We want to be able to use small pictures and/or icons in the diagrams to help give a more pictorial presentation than words, so it is the diagram/picture that gets the idea across.
We are looking to use someone from Perth Western Australia to work with us on an ad-hoc/part time basis who can show they can do the job quickly easily and professionally. We expect ongoing ad-hoc work as the start up progresses through its various stages. We would like to keep the same designer/developer who can work with us, so being able to showcase good examples to us is extremely important in our selection process.
