ive video broadcasting and streaming platform to be used via smart phone webcam or DV camera with options to deliver content to viewers on a diverse group of devices without having to install additional software on the end-users computer. Software is to be cloud hosted—which developer will be expected to recommend competitive vendors, determine the amount of bandwidth, storage (wowza, amazon, etc) and best CDN options. Given, this is a start-up, I want to service to scale in growth but not incur excessive monthly hosting/storage fees without clients to offset the costs.
Developer will need to suggest options either for customized application or recommend appropriate video player, i.e., Flash Player. The audience for this platform covers professional events, corporate meetings, weddings, birthday parties, sports, or any event whereby an organization wants to stream to an audience--either from our website of their own.
