Hope this message finds you well.
I am contacting you with regards to a gig to design & create a website for my business. Even though this website’s purpose is to promote my business but I would wish the website to be more educational/editorial rather than commercial. Long term wise I think by building trust and the authority around the niche, we will build our brand around that.
To give a little briefing, We are in soundproofing and acoustic panels market and through our selling online, we find that the education in this niche has not been sufficient. There is a gap in what the clients understands they are buying into and what the businesses are selling. Even for those commerce sites, it has been difficult to sell online due to the fact of proximity and difficulty in explaining the topic.
What we want to do is to create a simple, elegant and easy to navigate website that we could impart (slowly) information about this niche, in a easy to understand and hopefully they will know what they want.
I would like to include a place where people can mingle around, maybe what I am asking for is a Forum but is there better place or platform for them to mingle with, ask questions and leveraging from others, others with better knowledge will answer and for the next batch of people that search a certain keyword - They will find the post and they will know where to read
The next thing we require is the capabilities to track the users around the website, getting data, on where they click, how long they spent, where they went to next so that we know how to improve the website and form sufficient knowledge regarding how they “shop” around
Also, is there a way to allow readers to create account afterwards (in new future) and that they could either use Facebook account to log in to the website?
