We are working on an hardware that needs control and monitoring from a single page dashboard
The webpage will not be hosted on a server but deployed onto the device itself, so the whole design should not be more than 2MB, CSS, HTML, images and JavaScript
We would prefer using bootsrap framework, a left side bar for switching panes within the single page.
Once the page is loaded, no page reload is necessary and communication with the device from the page is Ajax post of json string
The device also send unsolicited data to the webpage so a socket will be kept open between the webpage and device
