1. About us and the project: We are a software company located in Egypt we are looking to have a software for our customer who is serving food "Waffle" and deliver it to his area neighbors, the following will be the project declaration:
1.1 Project shall start within 2 weeks
1.2 We expect to have a facebook application as a user interface and a web application for the admin interface(login will be using a username and password).
1.3 Web hosting will be provided from our side.
1.4 Source code shall be provided.
2 System Features
2.1 User Interface:
2.1.1 Registration:
• User will login using Facebook Account
o Information needed
Name *
Phone *
Email *
Address (will manually entered)
* User info will be dragged from Facebook account (if it is not available, he shall be able to enter it manually)
User will be notified that his information will be shared from his Facebook account
2.1.2 Placing order:
• User will select items
• User will select quantity
• User may add comments per item
• User may add comment per request
• User submits order
• System shall display the order number, total amount and list of ordered items
• Orders can't be placed except during the working hours
2.1.3 Check order Status
By clicking on "Check Order Status" User can list opened orders and check their status.
By clicking of order Number, user will have the option to preview items and update (based on Update Order rules 2.1.4)
2.1.4 Update Order
• User may update/Cancel his order only if the order status is "Pending"
2.2 Admin Pages (non-Facebook page)
2.2.1 Add Item
• Item Name
• Item components and description
• Image of the item
• Price
2.2.2 Update Item
• Enable/Disable Item
• Update Price
• Update description
• Update Image
2.2.3 Update request
2.2.3.1 Listing orders
A list of orders that are still opened shall be displayed:
o Order Number (clickable)
o Customer Name
o Order date and time
o Order status
Orders can be sorted by Order Number, Customer Name OR Order Date and time
By clicking on order number the order shall be displayed to the admin to update status
2.2.3.2 Update request status from Pending to
o In progress
o On Delivery
o Delivered
o Cancelled
2.2.4 Reports
Admin may execute a report that shows the following:
Criteria:
o Date (between)
o Order Status
o Order Number
o Item (list all ordered that contains the item)
Display:
o Total orders amount
o Order Number (clickable)
o Order Date and time
By clicking on Order Number the admin will be able to display the order details and list of actions taken (order updates "By User and Admin")
2.2.5 Update working hours
Admin user may update the working hours (From/To) and days.
"Go live support shall be provided with a minimum one month"
