## Deliverables
I need a design, specification and pricing for a blind lifting mechanism (motor, gearing and control electronics).
Prototype creation and delivery is an advantage to any bid and should be specified separately.
The deliverables will be a functional deign of the device, parts listing and source suppliers where the parts can be sourced in low volumes.
The device must:
* Max dimensions [url removed, login to view] (LxWxD)
* Be capable of lifting a minimum of 5Kg of weight using a single pull cord (pull up, release to let down).
* The lifting direction will be along the width of the device
* While off the device must mechanically hold the blind in the current position without power
* Use a DC power supply
* Be controlled using digital inputs - this will eventually be controlled by a micro controller
* The external controls will be:
* Activation - Pulse signal (assume initially a push button)
* Up (High level signal) - Motor signal to raise blind
* Down ( High level signal) - Motor direction to lower blind
* Stop (transition signal low to high or high to low) - Motor stop
* Emergency Stop (low) - Motor must stop instantly
* Motor Up Speed control (either using a pot or digital signal) - Controls the speed at which the motor lifts the blind.
* Motor Down Speed control (either using a pot or digital signal) - Controls the speed at which the motor lowers the blind.
If both direction signals are high at the time of the activation pulse then the motor does nothing.
