We are a new production company looking for a screenwriter or writers to work on a pay per accepted page pilot script. The genre is an Action/Adventure Drama/Comedy project that takes place in the mid 1980s. It is a combination of "The Dukes of Hazard" meets "Longmire." It is a modern western where the seven sister, who were famous country western singers, along with their famous mother in the 1960s (think the Osmonds with Reba being their mother). It takes place in a rural area of the west called Small Creek and on the family Ranch, the DD Ranch. Reiteration: The story is about a family of seven sisters, who were child stars, in their family's Wild West Show, Rodeos, State Fairs and TV, but it is now twenty years later, in the 1980s, and the oldest sister is the town marshal when trouble comes to town and requires the sisters to pull together to clean up the town with an epic O.K. Corral, Wyatt Earp versus the Clantons shootout in the final episode of the mini-series. This will pay per accepted page, written in the standard 60 minute TV series screenplay format.
