We have a desktop application which we plan to convert to a web-based application. The application was developed using Delphi 7 and the database is Firebird 2.5.
We plan to do the conversion in phases. In the first phase, we plan to convert 3 screens: Sales Invoice, Returns, Accounts receivable. The desktop application will continue to be used for all the other functions. So the same database file has to be used. A sample code is attached.
The required consultation work will be divided into three phases. Each phase will be attached to a payment milestone.
In the first phase, the consultant should:
1. come up with the list of requirements to do the job.
2. Suggest the best technology in terms of ease to convert to and power.
3. Set the coding style standard to be followed
25% of payment will be released.
Once done, the requirements will be posted in Freelancer.com,
In the second phase, the consultant must:
1. Review the candidates and recommend the best three.
25% of payment will be released.
Once the work is done, the consultant should review the work done which is the third and last phase. The review must include the following:
1. Review the work done by the third party based on the requirements
2. Review the code to confirm compliance with the coding standard
3. Suggest any modification
4. Do a security check on the code
5. Test the functionality
50% of payment will be released.
