AR (Augmented Reality) project: scan photo's in a book to see them (and related photos) in a app

Hi, I have a book of +- 120 pages with photo's and stories. I want an app with which I can scan the page, so I can see the original photo on my mobile device (ios + android). In the database with photo's I can see all related photo's (for example photos taken in the same year or on the same location). I can add these metadata with this photo in a database. Database will consist of 1000's of photo's.
I prefer a ready to use (open source) software program, if there is any, to speed up the process (short time to delivery), cut the costs of maintenance etc.
Dea bidders, PLEASE NOTE: This project doesn't involvo scanning pages of a book. I need an app with which I can scan a page, so the app recognises the page and shows me the photo on that page.
