Additional Features for PHPbb portal page

I have a forum site with a portal homepage and it runs PHPbb
I would like the following on the portal page,
1. From the youtube video section of the forum, I would like a "latest youtube video" on the portal front page instead of where the "latest poll" is now. Dynamically driven from the forum itself showing the latest youtube video embeded by user.
2. On the right hand side is a user section. I would like a shoutbox for members only above the user part.
