Can you script? - Need IP address changer

I work in Networking, and need to change my IP address frequently to any number of static IP addresses with related Subnet, Gateway and DNS IPs.

I am only guessing, but I would expect there to be a way to automate/script/program "static IP address" configurations in Windows OSs.

I am not concerned of the method to doing so, but I just want a file, batch script or small application that I can essentially click on and have it automatically change to a set configuration, including the following that I will configure accordingly for each icon:

IP Info:

IP Address [login to view URL]

Subnet Mask [login to view URL]

Default Gateway [login to view URL]

Preferred DNS Server [login to view URL]

I want to control each of these, but have them preset, click and go is what I seek.

I am tired of retaining/notepading IP info, then manually performaing:

1. clicking on network icon in tray bar

2. click on Properties button

3. click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) under General tab

4. click on Properties button

5. click on Use the following IP address

6. typing in IP, Subnet, Default Gat, DNS

7. click on OK and wait 10-20 seconds

Basicially, I want to click on an icon (i will need to duplicate your process, to have 3, 4 or 5 of them), have each automate the preset configs I preset manually once and windows networking will then be on this new network.

Of course, would need this process to automate DHCP configurations too, for same IP info above. So, I would click this and the systems network configurations default back to DHCP settings - automatically!

Must work on Windows 2000 Pro and XP Pro Operating Systems

Prefer working on upcoming Windows Vista if possible too, not necessary, but preferred.
