debug a prestashop php payment module (mokeijmai)

I need a prestashop payment method called mokejimai fixed. It throws a 500 internal server error, but nothing is reported in the server error logs. It is not a server memory limitation issue so something is wrong with the PHP script. The developer isnt too keen on fixing it so I need outside help.
