Assistant Director

A small 3D application with two parts. The first will be a small interface application in which a 3D scene can be designed. There will need to be an overview layout pane where the objects of the scene can be placed in a very basic, wireframe type. For instance, upon opening, choose from a few predesigned stages on which the scene will take place. Once open, the user can choose objects such as walls, desks, chairs, tables, beds, et cetera to place on the stage. Once that is laid out, the user can import pre-programmed characters and place them in their starting positions and orientations.

From that point, using a time-line/keyframe type tool, the user can move the characters around the stage. Once they've designed the movements for that scene, the user can save the working scene and open it in the 3D engine that will display the scene as designed. The user will need to be able to start and stop the scene once inside the 3D environment. The user will need to be able to move freely through 3D environment to view the scene from all angles. The 3D characters and set pieces do not need to be so brilliant the user would need specialized hardware. In fact, an average PC should be able to run this without any problems.

We would like to provide a multiplayer function at some point to allow multiple users to remote in much like in online gaming so many users can view the scene remotely and possibly discuss with a chat function what they are seeing. This multiplayer function may not need to be included in version one of this application depending on the additional cost it will require.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
