The project involves creating an Article Editing/Administration module for a non profit organization.
There will be 3 Article categories which should be read from a Data Base, the first 5 unexpired articles of each category should be shown on the home page.
**Article Creation**
Articles should be created on the site through a form which would allow for some Text Markup: Bold, color, italic, and hyperlinks.
**Articles Content**
Title, body, category, expiration date and keywords. All of this should be stored in a searchable DB.
Also you should be able to search all articles, get the Tittles and first 100 characters, and navigate to the article.
DB preferably MySQL.
Development can be PHP or ASP.
**NEW NOTES 11/17/05:**
This is a stand alone script.
To add content to the home page I think php include could work
You should be able to define a site template so when displaying an article either after a search of after clicking on the tittle it should match the rest of the site design.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
