JAVA + Python expert needed

I have downloaded a simple code in java from internet that works like below

right now this code can count the characters and the space between each word and anything in each line , so what i need from you to add two more functions that can show me as well the number of tokens and the number of types .

Types : an element of the vocabulary , Token : an instance of that type in running text.
