I'd like to start a directory website that lists categories of businesses and websites as well as allows users to upload GPX/KML files easily to create maps to share with the community.
We have some features that are active on some other sites that we'd like to be able to include in the new website.
We will need to have the following:
- mobile responsive
- fast & CDN friendly
- an admin panel for admin users to manage listings, users, user groups, etc.
- a listing manager panel for listing managers
- a sponsor panel for site sponsors to pay for their sponsor dues, upload new ads and associate links
- the ability to view uploaded listings
- integration of the Google Maps API for geolocation
- kml/gpx upload and map generation for visual display
- android and iOS offline maps that when online can update/sync to the main DB to download offline maps, upload new routes, etc.
I'm sure I'm missing some things here but we'll go over the entire project in detail with the chosen developer.
