Build a Website: Wordpress, Masonry Style, rebrand of existing site

Hi, I have a blog site using Wordpress Theme Clean Retina - a very clean and simple theme. I would like some help creating a new wordpress based blog site.
Specs:
* i want to have a masonry style layout .. a bit like this... [login to view URL] and this [login to view URL] (although i like the two column 'off centre' appearance of the first one)
* I would like the page to contain a background image - currently I am thinking either rustic timber or white tiles (eg:[login to view URL]). i will purchase / provide.
*if possible, category selection as left sidebar, rather than running across the top - as per the first example above
*if possible, could we re-code a Clean Retina / Clean Retina Pro theme to achieve this? open to advice. this theme is retina ready, mobile friendly, contains all social sharing elements etc and very easy as a user to maintain. I currently use the free version, but can purchase the Pro version if this helps to achieve.
I am just asking you to create the site - i can copy across the content once done.
I think this should be a fairly simple exercise and I want to keep costs low - but professionally done.
I will be taking time to look at references before awarding this project - thankyou for your responses.
