Android OS media player

We are looking for a Media Player application.

The app must be started from a browser page who will act as a custom interface.

The goal is to play live streaming videos and stored videos and audio files.

We need to support as much encodig types as possible like mxplayer, vlc, etc.

Using other apps as a player is possible although other options are open.

The application (with the url to be played) must start from a web page or web app. The 'web page' which acts as a user interface must remain on top of the video player, either fully transparent, or showing some menus. The 'web page' will receive the user keyboard interactions (the hardware is an android set top box) and the web page will send the command to the player with the url to be played, so it must work as normal TV sets. Example: if user is watching program 1 (url 1) and press number 2 in keyboard the app must start playing url 2... etc. same way with keys up and down. If the video is a stored file, once the video is finished the app must return to the web app menu.
