Just edit a portion so we can see your work and what you could do. If you win, we will compensate you 4 times this prize for the whole video.

I'm Marketing Manager for an up and coming artist owned and ran record label. The artists are in the videos and have had to hire videographers on a very low budget. The videographers have done the editing and production as well. The work is medeocre at best.

We are seeking someone who can edit and post-produce a portion of a video for this contest. No need to edit the entire video. We want to see your work in action on our video. We would require a list of ideas for improvements both basic improvements in quality, as well as creative improvemts to just make an overall better video for Television.

There are currently 4 videos compelted and in need of improviement, but we will be testing your skills first with a single video)

We are looking for someone who is skilled and has vision. We don't want to have to tell you where it needs edited. We want you to go in and make edits where you feel they are needed to improve these videos. This videos need to be high quality as we will be submitting some if not all, at some point to MTV Music Television. This could mean allot of future work for the winner.

Additionally there are already 27 songs completed and all will eventually need videos to go with them.

This contest is to see who can be creative, work indepenant of much instruction, someone who has vision and is an artist themselves when it comes to their editing and production. We do not want to have to tell you want to do. If we could do that we may as well edit it ourselves. I am not an artist, nor am i a film maker, or producer. That is where you come in.

This video is ok. It is being pushed out now, but it needs to be much grander to hold up against others on MTV. Special Effects, better sound, better lighting and contrast, the artists teeth whitened, maybe some background...Even cropping.

This contest has a low prize, so we do not expect you to do the entire video. We will compensate $100 for the whole video but only $25 to the winner of the test. You will win the $25 plus an additional $75 if you are chosed to complete the video.

Now if we use you for future video editing we would get the raw footage to you and of course pay you far more to edit it from the beginning. Those jobs will not be post editing. You would be the original editor.

  There is no need to increase the prize. Your only being asked to edit a portion of the video, so we can see your work, and the list of improvements you would make if if were you doing the editing. If we choose you, you will be additionally compensated to edit the entire 2-minute video.
