I'm looking for someone to create a house plan that meets my specific requirements of a 2.5 storey 5 bedroom house.
The requirements are very specific, as detailed in the supporting documents, and as such, each submission will be considered only if fits the requirements.
It is important to note that this contest is for designing only 1 house plan, but we are currently developing a project consisting of 16 units, as such, the winner of this contest will also be our top and preferred candidate to design the project master plan and all other houses (2000 USD contract).

Key details:
- The lot for the house is of 10m (width) x 35m (length), total area of 350m2
- Since we own the plots on both sides, our goal is to have attached houses or partially attached houses (it can be attached on both sides, or only on one side or attached on ground floor only etc - full freedom)
- It is a 2.5 story house (Ground, First floor, Second floor with master bedroom and large roof terrace)
- The house is facing south east (beautiful park views), and the main entrance is from the access road on the north west side of the lot

Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in architectural design software
- Knowledge of modern architectural styles and trends
- Ability to create detailed and accurate floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
- Experience in designing single-family homes with large square footage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure the client's vision is accurately captured in the design.

Required submission to participate:
- Submit a basic 2D house plan of the entire house as per the detailed specifications, room breakdown and sizes
- Submission can be of a basic sketch (hand sketch or basic 2D layout)

To Win the Contest:
- The top submission will be request to submit a detailed and complete 2D and 3D House plans of the entire house, including basic interior design (placements) and exterior design (house facade)

Contest winner will be chosen as per these criteria:
- House plan matches the criterias (matches land size, direction, breakdown of rooms, room sizes, general design guidelines)
- The design is functional, efficient and logical
- The design is feasible to implement when considering construction and budget

Prize: 250 USD

Add-on Services:
- 2000 USD contract to design all other units (other houses, apartments, penthouse) as well as the project master plan

Optional (as per the know-how, experience and skill set of the architect / designer):
- Provide architectural drawings for the entire project
- Provide CGI images of the design
- Provide Mechanical and electrical drawings for the project
- Provide Structural engineering drawings for the project

Hello. The price of the contest includes only the 2d plan of the house, right? I read in the description that it also includes interior and exterior 3D modeling.

  yes. i believe it will be best o have the living + dining + kitchen all alongside the back garden. So to have a nice view / large open sliding frame doors with a lot of light coming in. View will be on the garden and the pool. The guest bedroom indeed, will be then beside the entrance. Because ideally, also is to have some internal garden area / terrace.

Dear respected customer, the plot of land is supposed to be planned, movement paths, parking, and plots distributed to reach the best proportion of the plot, which is 1:2.
And then start designing each unit separately.

  We already have some direction for the masterplan and we did allocate the sub-lots as per this masterplan concept. Of course we did take into account visitor parking, access road, common areas etc. Only after doing so, we decided that each individual lot will be at 10x35m. I do understand that 1:2 is ideal, but it is not possible on this plot. Accordingly, the house design will be more narrow (up to 10m width), high (3 floors = G+1st floor + roof unit) and the garden space will be mainly at the back of the house as we do have 35m to cover both the house and the garden (we estimate the length of the house to be around 15-20m, leaving enough space for garden)

contest holders really understand the planning methodology and their data requirements, it would be amazing if other contest organizers could do this. this is really just a contest
What needs to be emphasized is the deadline for submitting design results so that there is no additional time, so that the evaluation schedule will not be delayed and the winner can be decided immediately. great #sealed please

  Thank you for the kind feedback. Please note that i have just sealed the contest. As for the timeline, it really depends on the pace in which I will receive the submissions. But the goal is within 2 weeks time to chose the best design drafts and then have a discussion with these top candidates to submit a final design. My goal is to have the entire process done within the time period of 20 days or maximum 30 days to grant the prize. It is our mutual goal to move fast :-)

  As for the floor height, ideally we opt for more 'high ceiling' in general, referring to minimum possible height of 2.8m, aiming for ceiling at around 3.0 - 3.4m . Yet again, this depends on the design and the decision of the architect. Of course also, possible to have some spaces with lower ceiling and other main spaces with higher ceiling.

  No need any setback on the front of the house. As it is part of a complex, the house can reach all the way up to the common area. Or, otherwise, we can have some space in the front of the house for some garden space (or have the car parking area + very small side garden. Again, up to the design. On the back of the house, we opt to have a larger garden with pool and green space. For the back area there is a setback of 3meter from the boundary walls. No side set backs.
