コンテスト概要

I am launching a new service in mid-May to provide a “second opinion” of marketing proposals received by small- to medium-sized business owners and entrepreneurs. I'm calling the service "Marketing Second Opinion" but I'm open to naming it something different if you have a killer idea for a logo design - the main goal is to provide a visual hook to get the person to read more about the service. Currently, I'm playing off the better-recognized concept of a medical second opinion.

A bit of background on the service: the service will provide a review of marketing proposals the business owner has received along with a review of the vendor submitting the proposal to help the business owner determine if purchasing services will help them advance their marketing objectives and if the vendor can deliver on what they promise. The goal is to help small business owners avoid scammy marketers. Ideally, a logo will help convey this message without being overly cheesy.

About my existing design environment: the primary color on my website (navigation bar, footer) is a deep blue (HEX: #13133C). The background color for the drop-down menu and sub-menu navigation is and a dark teal (HEX #2D5964). The accent colors are a light blue (HEX: #65CBE4) and a deep red (HEX: #720011). The primary font on the website is Open Sans. Colors and fonts used in the logo should make use of these colors or be complementary so the logo will fit with the overall design environment of the website and upcoming printed marketing materials.

I tend to favor a minimalistic design approach that could probably be closely described as flat design. My website and printed materials take design cues from both flat design and material design while working in photographs as appropriate.
