This contest is for the creation of a 3d walk-through with content for the inside of a planetarium/event sphere. The inside dome of the planetarium will be 80 feet across. The projection on the dome will extend to the floor level. Seating can be either circular, lines of chairs or it setup as a restaurant.

I'm looking for ideas of what the venue will look like. Be creative: It might be look like an African safari, or the moon, or the jungle or a DJ performance or concert. It could also feature a yoga class or other sports activities inside of the dome.

Your video should be 2-3 minutes long highlighting the capabilities of the venue.

Assume that there will be 4 projectors on the outside rim of the dome so that you will have full coverage of the inside of the dome to project onto.

Please include audio in your simulation.

Build in whatever software you would like. It's the video plus still shots that I'm looking for.

Feel free to submit still images or short videos if you'd like feedback on your work.

Your work needs to feature not only what is projected onto the dome but also the seating area, entry into it, etc. It should look like an overview of an actual venue.

(I'm also posting a contest for the design of the outside of the sphere too)

Hi. So I've been through all of the entries now and extended the contest. There were only a couple of entries that were even close to what I was looking for. The contest is to show the inside of a planetarium, setup as a viewing area with seats, and also setup as a restaurant and a venue. Show the types of things that could be projected on the dome ceiling that really show off how neat a dome ceiling could look.

I suppose that you wish 3D mapping, and to get the accurate video for it you need to provide exactly dimension of the sphere, from which angle projector will roll the video etc

I am an architect and industrial designer. I have been working with Geodesic Domes for events and constructions for 30 years.
The dome that you are going to mount is a geodesic dome and how often it has.
The ideal for projections are 5 projectors, whether it is for an event.
