Can you provide a sample of the shirt design? I'm a big fan of Quiksilver, Volcom, Hurley and other board riding brand, they have some differences in design, some are simple some are detailed. in your company i think detailed design is not appropriate for the shirt.. But if you really like it badly i can submit another design that fits your description.
