I'm trying to get a job as filmmaker. please create an interesting introduction from the attached. The write-up will be used on a website homepage to attract potential employers. Short and long versions (stories) are welcomed.

I was introduced to films at a very young age. My father had a large DVD collection full of a variety of classics such as "Do the Right Thing", "Crooklyn", "Malcolm X", "The Godfather", "Once Upon a Time in America", and "New Jack City" just to name a few. I was only in high school and these were the films that interested me because these were the films that my father enjoyed and I became curious to know what they were about and why he liked them so much. For starters, I knew that majority of these films took place in New York and it made sense because he's from Queens. Growing up in northern part of Jersey you get a city feel to a certain extent but it isn't NY so watching a lot of these films that were NY based gave me an idea of how it was growing up in the big city. Because I enjoyed watching movies so much my father was the one that came up with the notion for me to become a film director. Me? A Film Director? I wasn't so sure about it but I remember he told me how it wasnt always about who was in front of the camera, but the people who take place behind the scenes are just as important. We play a major role because not only do we direct the talent and call the shots but most importantly we create the story. I gave it a shot my freshman year of high school when I decided Multimedia would be my area of focus. My favorite class was TV Production because my high school teacher would put our class into groups where we would work with the drama students and come up with short films based on what genre we had for that particular week. I knew that this was my calling when I submitted one of my short films to Union County Teen Arts Festival and a film of mines was chosen for NJ State Arts. I continued to create more films and In 2010 when I got accepted to William Paterson University I knew my major would be Communications with a concentration in Media Production. Upon graduating I've participated in several internship programs where my main focus has been videography and editing and now with social media on the rise, video content is a must for a lot of companies. I've created promotional videos, and fulfilled other artists ideas by creating visual concepts and stories and now I've currently been experimenting with photography. My love for art, films, and creating will always continue to grow.
