I own a South African IT company, Wizz Computers, that was incorporated in 1987 and we have been offering IT consulting services to a wide range of organisations for over 15 years. We have provided services to various South African governmental departments, banking institutions and telecommunications organisations.
We are a highly professional organization and take great pride in the work that we do. We are NOT a collection of over-enthusiastic students NOR are we a fly-by-night company looking to make a quick buck. We have extensive knowledge of all facets of system development, including project planning, project management, systems analysis and design, documentation and support.
In most cases we will only quote on system development on receipt of a detailed User Requirement Specification and/or Functional Specification as a few lines of project description are not enough to accurately assess (or quote on) the needs of a potential client. The User Requirement Specification then acts as a contractual document between Wizz Computers and the client and this document performs a dual purpose. Firstly it protects the client by ensuring that he or she gets exactly what they asked for and were quoted on. Secondly it protects us from "Project creep." i.e. System requirements that are added to the project after the initial quote.
As part of systems delivery we provide Technical Specification documentation for support purposes and User Training Manuals. This documentation can be provided in almost any electronic format that the client may require.
