My name is Marisol Aponte. I'm 34 years old, and I live in Colombia.
BA in English Language from the Technological University of Pereira; with knowledge of the communicative, theoretical, and practical components of the current methodologies of teaching English at a general level, as well as the development of skills, values, and attitudes that enable me to perform the profession of teacher, with academic, pedagogical, investigative and humanistic.
Master in Educational Technology and Digital Competencies of the International University of La Rioja, with knowledge of digital skills with a current and dynamic approach, following the Common Framework of Digital Teacher Competence, developed by the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF).
In 2015 I studied the Powerful Tools for Teaching and Learning program: Web 2.0 tools, in the University System of Huston and I also studied the Grammar for Teachers: Language Awareness program of Cambridge English Teachers.
After evaluation of my academic record, I was awarded a scholarship of excellence by the UNIR Foundation (International University of La Rioja - Spain) to study for the Master's Degree in Educational Technology and Digital Competencies that was developed in Spring 2017. On April 9, 2018, I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Digital Competencies from the International University of La Rioja. I made an educational innovation project as my final work, which consisted of the creation of an Android application to improve communication between Parents and Institutions, in issues of student note reports. With this application, parents can observe at any time both the strengths and difficulties and also the recommendations given by teachers to improve the academic performance of students.
