I'm a very experienced C#/VB.NET/VB/VC developer. I've co-authored and edited a few books (VB How-To, Insider's Guide to Software Development, Visual Basic Programmer's Guide to Serial Communications).
I've written .NET components and classes, .NET applications, ASP.NET sites, VBXes, OCXes, ActiveX and COM objects, suites of interlocking and interacting miniapps. I've worked on many Internet protocol clients and servers, serial components and software, voice mail systems, call accounting (SMDR) systems, medical data gathering devices and reports form them, embedded software in medical scanners, military airplane avionics (from a QA perspective), cubic spline graphing, database to static web page generators, patent search systems, document retrieval, tax code, screen scraping IBM 3270 emulators, HTML screen scraping. I wrote an ID/badging system for a Department of Energy installation.
Most of my current work is with ASP.NET and SQL Server. Primarily C#, but some VB.NET.
I've worked with C, C++, Pascal, FORTRAN, VB, VB.NET, C#. In the very old days, I've written code in 8086 assembly, Pilot, and even COBOL. I started with computers in 1972 learning BASIC on a PDP-11. From there, I've worked with CP/M machines, MS-DOS, OS/2, VAX VMS, and, of course, Windows (starting with Windows 2.0).
