Hello Mate, mainly the issue arises related to speed is because of the website content and referring to 40,000 posts that's a lot. However, in order to settle that you can use the CDN as they will host the media files and will reduce the load time and besides this I would like you to share the link to your website so I can have a view at the number of plugins you have installed and their compatibility with other as well.
