On my Wordpress blog, much of the content are comments that I've written on Facebook under public posts (comments on news posts) and dragged/dropped straight from my Facebook activity feed; with the headlines of the news stories on which I was commenting, which keeps the hyperlink to the news articles with them. I want to keep a record of long comments that I've written, and be able to click straight onto the news articles that my comments relate to. The issue is that on my Wordpress site, the comments then appear with the hyperlinked headlines for the next topic directly underneath, then a space (empty line) before the comment relating to that next headline. Obviously, I need instead for the comments on a headline to appear directly below that headline, then for there to be a space before the next topic.
When I look at the HTML, I can see that my method of dragging things straight from Facebook has put lots of unwanted HTML jargon in to my Wordpress posts which needs editing to correct the line spacing problem.
I've never been taught HTML - and managed, with lots of trial and error, to fix a few of my Wordpress posts. But I really need someone to help me with the remaining line space problems and teach me what to do in future to avoid this nonsense.
