I need a web scraping solution to download all corporate reports found via the SEC EDGAR database found at [login to view URL] The web scraper should: - Locate companies through their official tickers, contained in a separate text file - Download all the company reports, for a given period of time, naming them as ticker+1,2,3 etc. e.g. Apple's first annual report found would be downloaded as [login to view URL] - Preferred web scraper would be a freeware/shareware of the bidder's choice, that would work on a windows based platform

Hi! I have determined that there are 451,294 entities listed on the website. I don't know if you are interested to download all of the annual reports of each company; but this could really take a long time. Not knowing the amount of information to be finally downloaded for this job, I would like to suggest that my deliverable must include just the URLs to the annual reports listed in each company's filings. The downloads of the actual files could be treated as a separate undertaking; perhaps on a more equitable hourly rate.

I have been coding scripts like this for clients locally but haven't picked up any work on Freelancer yet, so I am eager for this job.
