I am myself a system developer using MS Access (and sometimes MySQL). Because of high demand from customers I will need help from time to time. This project is for me a testproject. Therefore it will only be the functionality of part of the project.
I need 2 forms:
Form 1: This will be the startupform. The first form the users see. It will be full of big buttons. The data behind the form will be only a few records, but not connected with the form! Maybe 5 to 15. I want that everytime the form is opened the records in the table will make the input for each of the buttons. The table consists of three fields, ID, Description and an OLE-picture. The ID will be tagged to the button (or a hidden textfield), the picture will be on the button (you can deside the format - I have not made any pictures) and the description will be in a textfield under the button.
We can start with 9 buttons, but it must be possible to; change the picture and description, add new buttons - which also should add a new record in the table. I mean it should be possible for the user!
Each button should open a form where the ID filters the new form.
Form 2:
This is the form that is opened by the buttons in the other form. It will have the data from the first table without the picture. It will have continuas form connected with a table that has a One-to-many relationship with the first table described. This table has the fields: ID, MotherID, Description and picture. It will list these. It shal be possible to click one of them and get to the next level, but that will be for later!
